The dinner came and WENT! We were decorating and arranging and cooking RIGHT UP to the moment the guests arrived! One of our guests had to LEAVE and run an errand for us due to a GROSS miscalculation. Nothing that big really just short a few 80 forks! WHAT?! Crisis averted.... everyone ate... and ate... and enjoyed the slideshow of pictures prepared by Amanda Kabat (which made me cry tears of joy). Petry was able to get his powerpoint loaded up at the last minute (I am certain he was happy to oblige this last minute request to talk about HOH) :) Our team was overjoyed to share our guests of honor and special memories with our supporters. I believe everyone had a wonderful time, felt encouraged about how they entrusted us with their financial gifts and looked forward to next year and what we would do then! The atmosphere was elegant! Tables set just perfect with excellent service and GLORY filled that place! Next year we need a larger place! Thats good stuff!
The newness of the trip and excitement is beginning to wind down and normal life ensues. How grateful we are to have been used in this way and our hunger grows to serve Him again each day in everyday life on the Mission Field He sets before us once our feet hit the floor.
Jill Briscoe once said, "The devil doesnt care who you please as long as it isnt the Father". Is she right or what? We are in the midst of a battle and does he who seeks to destroy and divide ever want us more now that we grow closer to God. Jesus tells us to count it an honor to suffer for the Kingdom and todays troubles wont last so we are encouraged not to dwell in them. He wouldnt have said it if we didnt need the encouragement right? He knew this would be a struggle and He calls us to be aware! In Hebrews we are told to remind each other daily so we may not fall into the traps of the evil one. He holds us close to the fire which means He too feels the heat! I am comforted by knowing I am not alone!

August 20th from 8am-3pm at the Combined Locks Memorial Park! I will upload the flyer once I get it... all proceeds are to the Romanian Mission of 2012! How exciting! I am starting a side photography hobby and again all proceeds go to our Mission! 'Faith Works Photography' by ChaCha... I am so excited to do something I enjoy for the Glory of His Kingdom! Thats worthy of an AMEN! Hell-o!
Pray for the Garage Sales in Kaukauna this weekend.. safety and prosperity... I have a garage of stuff at a girlfriends/sponsor's house for Romania Fundraising!
So if youre out there and youre listening... think about your mission field. Its not an option its a command! Jesus said go.... He didnt say wait to be called, see if its your GIFT... He said GO! I believe its time to be urgent in attitude and bold in speech. Be purposeful and love unconditionally... Love needs no interpreter!
