We are in the home stretch now... and boy can I feel it! Literally... I can barely turn my head to the left due to a locked up muscle.... stress and anxiety have a way of showing up.
Many people know that I do NOT like to spend large amounts of money. I dont mind shopping and hitting a good deal BUT last week our refrigerator/freezer went out. Talk about timing. Just one more thing right? Have you had to buy one of these necessities? Hello! Expensive! We went the week without an inside fridge and I thought I would DIE from inconvenience! Spoiled MUCH?
My sweet mother thinks she can fly or that she is superwoman... whichever is more ridiculous! She and my dad do EVERYTHING that is maintenance on their rental properties... including falling off ladders and breaking their leg! Mom had surgery in Louisiana on Sunday March 13 for plating of her leg... all is well with her as she is now home and beginning the rehab process. Maybe that will keep them from worrying about us in Romania! (doubt that) My big brother to the rescue... David will step in and be nurse for the weekend... that eases my mind quite a bit!
This week leading up to the trip I am working 10 hour days and trying to prepare everyone for my absence here at work.... wanting things to go as smoothly as possible. In the meantime I am most likely making this week miserable for everyone! I just told my sister in law, Yvette, who is heading on a 12 hour car ride with her family to have "JOY in all things... " WOW was that the pot calling the kettle black! Honestly... I am SO INADEQUATE for this trip and boy do I feel it! Another day closer and my heart pounds with nerves and excitement.... or maybe too much coffee!
