The last teaching... The great commission.. Jesus said.. I have been given all authority in Heaven and on earth. Therefore GO and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. .. Teach them to obey all of the commands I have given you. And be sure of this I am with you always... Matthew 28:18-20

Poison Ivy, Fortresses and fences!
No one has poison ivy.... we ate the Romanian version last night at dinner and it was wonderful! Stella speaks some English, well more than some, and she hears the things we like for instance GRITS! She made us soup with grit dumplings... o my that was wonderful! Everything she makes is wonderful!
Sunday we had church and lunch with Petry and Kyles family in the church basement and it felt like HOME! Then we made our first trip to Torcia and Cinscu... WOW!The Bible lessons were great and the kids were even better... we cant stop hugging them and smiling. These kids crumble even the toughest man to playing duck duck goose!
SUnday night we went back to church for worship.... we were all exhausted but it was the best thing to keep moving to ward off the jet lag. It worked so far!
Monday we spent the day scraping BY HAND each inch of the room on Torcia (pronounced Torklah) where the children meet once a week for Bible lessons. It was cool that one of us touched every inch of that room as we covered it in prayer for these children. We do not pray that they be rescued from their circumstances so much as we pray they becom rich in salvation! How cool is that! I can see the difference... no really I can SEE it! Amazing and humbling all at the same time to be here and to be used for this time and this special job. 6 adults and 4 children ministering each in their own gifted way for these children, image bearers. Its Beautiful!
Tuesday was another hard working day. We spent the day clearing the way and building a chain link fence around the remainder fo the property at Horizon of Hope. This place is certainly Holy Ground... we pray over the grounds and for the vision they have for the people of Romania.
After hard work we took off toward Combinot... another poor village with wonderful children. We taught the story of Noah and that the rainbow represents Gods love for us.. the children said God loves you! I said NU NU NU! He loves you and you and you... and they smiled SOOOO big! They then said.... he loves me? Yes! He loves you!
WOW that was huge! After we passed out the animal cookies and painted and passed out fruit, the moms headed to Kyles Mommy Group which is a lot like our Bible Study small groups in the states. We had a blast and shared what it is like to be a mom in USA. they have struggles with disciplining their children too! How normal we are! It ws delightful to meet them... you will see a group picture soon. We have certainly grown to love these people very much!
Today is wednesday and the fence needs to be finished which Petry did not think we could accomplish... well he never worked with this team! We finish what we start! With a little help from our BIG GOD! Amen!
SHelby is very sick and will need to miss the mission oout there today.... I am staying back with her as this is my Mission field for today! Stella, who has simply won our hearts, asked Shelby this morning "you stay in Romania all time it very nice place da?" She told Shawn "I stay home Shelby you go work!" She came in early this morning and wrapped a shawl around Shelbys head to keep her warm and has been ministering to our hearts all morning and of course feeding us. The honey here that Levu (sp?) makes is spectacular! I wish you could taste it... maybe i will sneak a bit home to share? Ah Better yet.... you come, work, share love and eat Honey? Da!
